  • The Raasay Community Store is  community owned and operated. It is the heart of the island and we would encourage guests to support it and the other local businesses where possible. The store has access to good local meats which generally need to be pre-ordered. Please liaise direct via Facebook and Messenger. See https://www.facebook.com/RaasayCommunityStores/about/

  • Located just down the hill from the shop is the crafts caravan "Taigh nan Cearcan" which has a fantastic range of locally produced gifts and souvenirs. See  https://www.facebook.com/TaighnanCearcan/

  • The Raasay Gallery showcases the work of gallery owner Gordon J Cheape together with other local artists. Please see  http://www.raasaygallery.co.uk/about.html 

  • Raasay House Hotel is located near to the ferry terminal and is an excellent place to eat (booking is essential). It also has an activities centre. Please see their website for details https://www.raasay-house.co.uk/

  • The award winning Raasay Distillery is the first legal distillery on the island and provides tours. It also provides excellent food but again pre-booking is essential.  www.raasaydistillery.com
